Drive Shed & Bridge
With a meandering natural stream as its focal point, the land was cleared, a pond created, and bridge constructed of timbers reclaimed from local barns. The drive shed could suit an array of uses: living space, studio space, agriculture, or equipment storage. The variety of trees which now so perfectly blend into the hills could have been growing there forever, but in fact, the maples, pines, and grasses were specifically selected and planted to create a timeless landscape.
