Old Mill Ruins

From desolation comes discovery. Like the remains of a medieval castle, these old stone walls invite playful exploration and peaceful contemplation. The mill that once stood on this site in downtown Lindsay was the heart of the town and the reason for its founding. Destroyed by fire in 1978, the mill stood as an abandoned, unloved hulk for years. Now, its artfully enhanced ruins have new life as part of a beautiful riverside stroll on a summer evening.
